RACE CATEGORIES (CATEGORIES ARE BASED ON PREVIOUS YEARS ENTRY NUMBERS)
* A minimum of 5 race entrants per category is required for prizes to be awarded in that category. These are the Australian Ocean Racing Series categories, All 3 races are part of the AORS but only races 2 & 3 are part of WA Race week. (Over 40, 50 and 60 categories can be combined for prizes if less than 5 in a category)
Age categories are based on the AORS categories. It is your age as at 31st December 2024.

All competitors must abide by the following rules:
All competitors must abide by the following rules:
- All paddlers must wear type 2 or type 3 PFD’s (lifejackets). Bum Bag style PDF’s approved for stand ups only.
- All paddlers must be attached to their craft via a leg leash.
- All paddlers must attend the pre-event briefing held 10 minutes before the start.
- All paddlers must assist other competitors in difficulty.
- All paddlers to remain inside 400 metres from shore.
